Terms & Policies
RESERVATION POLICIES:
Lessons for new students must be scheduled one week in advance. If a student needs to reschedule a lesson, they should first attempt to do so on the Scheduling page of this website. If they are unsuccessful and need assistance Katie can be contacted directly. Students should not trade lesson slots without informing Katie.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Lessons must be canceled 24 hours in advance. Any lesson canceled within 24 hours, or missed with no notice, will be charged to the client. In the case of illness or emergency, please email or text Katie directly to discuss the issue with her. If a student arrives late to their lesson, the lesson will conclude at the previously scheduled time and the student forfeits the time missed.
OTHER POLICIES:
When possible, Katie prefers contact via text message. Emails and phone calls will not be addressed while Katie is teaching, so if a student is in need of immediate assistance due to an upcoming lesson/schedule change, text message is preferred. Students should provide a three ring binder, pencil, and bottle of water for all lessons. Assigned music should be studied between lessons so learning can progress efficiently and music must be brought to all lessons. Replacement music will not be provided in the event of forgotten binders/music.
